2026 D-Bat Winter Clinic

Winter Clinics for Coginchaug Little League:

League Age 7-10 (Baseball and Softball):
Location: D-Bat Cheshire
When: Sessions will be 90 minutes, running from 3:00PM to 4:30PM starting January 18th running through March 22nd with two "off days" February 8th and March 8th.
Format: All Aspect Clinics exclusivly for Coginchaug Little League players! Run by D-Bat Coaches teaching fundamentals of throwing, fielding, base running, agility and hitting. Groups Broken Up by Age for age-appropriate drills.

Majors Baseball: Hit Trax League
Location: D-Bat Cheshire
When: 9 week regular season January 10th - March 7th. Games will be between 1-6 PM. March 14th will be playoffs for the top 6 seeds, single elimination format: March 21st and 28th are scheduled as snow dates.
Teams: 5 Players
Game format: Each game will take place in our HitTrax cage. Teams/names will be entered on the monitor. With a D-BAT Instructor throwing overhand, each ball hit will be read on the monitor, and the HitTrax will keep track of outs, baserunners, score, etc. Each game will be in a 1 hour block. Each team will have 10-15 minutes to warm up at the start of each block, and then will get remaining time to play a 7 inning game, time allowing

Majors Softball: 4x4 League
Location: D-Bat Cheshire
When: Games will be held January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14, 21, 28 and March 7th between 4PM and 9PM.
Teams: 5 players
Game format: Live At-Bats against real pitching with 2 defensive players, a pitcher and catcher. This league is designed for highly competitive (Travel Level competition) Majors aged Softball. Teams should be created with team composition in mind, a major's level pitcher and catcher are required for each team.
